I'm Tom Mottershead, a singer-songwriter and producer who creates music based on God's Word to strengthen weary hearts. Many of my songs grow out of time spent reflecting on the Bible, praying and playing the piano. I often write from my own experiences of fear, shame, uncertainty and emotional weariness, and the ways God has met me with kindness and compassion in the middle of them.

Through my gentle worship songs and piano instrumentals, I hope to help people slow down, spend time with Scripture and be reminded of the nearness and steady hope of God in Christ. Sometimes that means putting biblical truth directly into lyrics; other times it means creating space for prayer, reflection and worship without words. 

Mental health is an important part of my story, but my music also explores grief, spiritual dryness, self-condemnation and the everyday struggles of following Jesus. More than anything, I hope the music feels like someone sitting beside you and gently reminding you of what is true. My original music has been heard more than one million times across streaming and video platforms and has received national radio airplay. But what encourages me most is hearing that a song has helped someone pray, keep going or turn their attention back towards Christ.
